What can we as society do to make parents stay with each other?
The there are multiple reasons for it. The normalization of casual sex is a big one. If you casually breed with a man who you aren't confident will stick around and be a good father and partner, guess what's gonna happen.
Another big reason is that women are encouraged to be single mothers much more today. I blame feminism for that one.
It's just a consequence of rampant promiscuity.
How about just accepting that people make choices and thats ok? Nobody says you're stuck with dating a single mom.
You ask likely because it somehow validates your grim outlook on the quality of modern women. Fact is, there's lots of good ladies out there.
Statistically, kids that don't have both parents in the home are at a major disadvantage in life. They are much more likely to do poorly in school, to go to prison, to die young, to be homeless, etc.
This is a much bigger issue than how the parents are affected - the real issue is how the children are affected, and that isn't talked about nearly enough.
It's the inevitable result of liberal politics, the ongoing disintegration of moral values, and the influence of feminism over modern women.
