Sowing less division among ourselves and getting back into space and basic research. There's so much to learn, and so much we can do to ensure the survival of our species, like colonizing the moon, sending manned missions to mars. We just need to get our shit together and do it.

We have such tunnel vision for issues between ideologies. I could care less what people believe in as long as we move forwards instead of backwards. So far we've been moving backwards for a long time, be it Democrats or Republicans.

It isn't just our nation, but many that lack a focus, or an ideal to strive for. Make it space, exploring the depths of the ocean, real solutions to energy issues. Science is a powerful force, and we aren't oiling that squeaky wheel enough. South Korea is, and showing massive gains from that work. It won't be so much longer that they're dependent on Russian boosters to get their satellites into orbit.

Look at all Elon Musk has accomplished simply by aggressively pursuing that path. NASA became a lame duck and SpaceX rose. What if he decides not to have his business in the US anymore though? We lack the means to get to space currently without SpaceX or Russian boosters, what does that make NASA? Who repairs the Tesla's in service and replaces their batteries?

We are so lacking in basic and applied research, there's a lot we can outsource, but we shouldn't outsource our brains. I'd like to see the world racing to conquer space rather than proxy wars, and division. It's such a dangerous environment that breaking apart due to nationality, race, or religion would only make it more deadly. Look at the ISS vs MIR, ISS has been more successful and when it was popular defused many tensions. I just don't get it.

I want political correctness to end, wokeness to be LONG dead and buried, Twitter to be extinct or at least rebranded into something else now that Musky Boy owns it, the Chinese Communist party to be completely collapsed and disbanded like the Soviet Union, inflation and gas prices to be down (I don't even own a car), and for humor and "mean jokes" to return. Who knows if the US will ever be united again, but all those other things would be a GREAT start!

As for me? My life was supposed to end in 2010. I was 24 at the time and that would've been a good spot to end it. So I don't think about the future anymore. It's just setting yourself up for disappointment.

I really want and hope, they are ready for the wold instead... because unfortunately, I am quite sure the world won't be a better place than it is today

I would like us all to put more effort in understanding eachother and working together more. People either prefer to fight or run away from the fight. We don't hear eachother out anymore or try to make it work together. I want the community to be just a little more united.

I would prefer my kids and relatives grew into a world without Global Warming and 20 year droughts, raging wildfires, deforestation and the threat of war on a Global Scale because of extreme economic conditions and exponentially depleting resources. That is just what I would like for my children.
