Why do women think it is easy to walk in a man's shoes or to they believe that being a man is less intricate than being a woman? Can voice versa be?

The basic reality of human reaction to the sexes is this: women get empathy; men get respect. A woman who's suffering needs help; a man who's suffering is a failure who needs to toughen up. A man who's abusive is a monster; a woman who's abusive doesn't matter, it's not like she's a real threat (this is why female-on-female rape is so rarely addressed, since it's a direct conflict of social ideals).

This is why people can claim that women in the USA are "oppressed" and be taken seriously, even while their brothers have their genitals hacked apart minutes after being born, can't operate in society without signing up for battle slavery, and are denied any form of reproductive rights whatsoever (even when they're rape victims). Women, meanwhile, are denied... public toplessness. Sometimes. In some places.

This attidue can, on an individual level, be overcome; humans aren't unthinking beasts. But it's not a popular notion, and involves fighting both entrenched ideas and instinct. There's a race car driver named Danica Patrick. I don't know much about her, but I did see one press conference where she was present, and was referred to as (paraphrasing here"s) "A source of inspiration for millions of little girls", and she quickly cut in, adding "And boys", illustrating that it's downright stupid to assume one can only relate to or be inspired by people who look like you. Also, that it's stupid to class someone as a "lady race car driver" when it's not a sex-segregated sport; you don't drive with your genitals. If we can go one way towards equality, it stands to reason we can do both.

It'll be slow going, though; just ask Erin Pizzey.

Ok, you really said a lot here that I agree with. Especially Danica Patrick. Yes, I'm glad she stop that short with being only an inspiration for just million of girls. All children are watching and deserve to be inspired.

It depends on the mend there are some men when we can walk in their shoes in a heartbeat and do better but who even gives a f*** they're people just like you and me trying to do a job let them do it

Yeah everybody is different and brought up different some girls struggled to be daddy's little girl and they helped their dad work on cars do all kinds of things so they think that they have something to prove and that's all cool if that's what they want to do go for it if a woman can step in the guys shoes and do that job go for I mean I watch a lot of guys say they can do a lot of things and they can't do it and that goes with a lot of women to but there are women who can step into the shoes into a pretty good job and I say more power to them keep up the good work
