How would you react if you heard someone say that the police are cowards?

I'm assuming US police. UK police not so much.

Covid-19 was the leading cause of death among U. S. police officers in 2021.

Not criminals, not firearms, but a disease that their union fought for the right not to be vaccinated against.

And those brave, brave people kill a thousand Americans a year.

Now, I can understand, with the ridiculous number of firearms in the country, that most of those killings were justified, but I find it hard to believe they couldn't have de-escalated many of those situations, especially the ones with unarmed civilians.

But realistically you can't compare cops working in a high crime big city with cops working in other places. It's comparing apples to oranges.

As a whole I would disagree. However, if they're referring to how the police responded to the Texas school shooting, I'd agree.

America is an entire society of cowards. The paralyzing fear of pain & death here has made normal operation of society completely impossible.

Americans are, frankly, shitty people who place profit above respect or honor. They're more afraid of death than they are of disappointing or angering God, which is a big mistake.

There are cowards and brave people in every profession. Why, when there have been tens of thousands of cops putting themselves in live fire situations to save people, and a very small number of cops didn't do what they were supposed to do, now people think almost all cops are cowards?
