I'm not from the US so I don't really get what any of this is about. Although I got to say that inviting a pop group in order to try to solve such a complex issue is rather odd. There ought to be great deal of people who are way more qualified for this type of thing, thus this sort of just appears as pr thing to me and not a real attempt at solving the issue.
