Should Fox be taken off the air for airing old Trump footage as ‘fake news’?

Trump was wearing a hat basically pissing on our brave soldiers that died in Iran war. Fox showed old footage of Trump not wearing a hat during death of soldiers prior. Fox only corrected error when people figured out it was old footage.

Should Fox be completely taken off the airwaves for fraud and showing fake news?

When I am out and see cars from a funeral , I always take my cap off to show respect. Not Trump. He was using the deaths from a war to make money off it.

i don't see the big deal. what dumbass was so offended by hats? why is a hat disrespectful? stupid rules for stupid people in my opinion. if you're going to be called news (not entertainment) then you need to just give the facts.

but any sort of trickery is bad faith. there needs to be honesty and integrity in news stations at all levels. if you can't talk about something without lying about it then don't talk about it.

I don't think they screwed up. This seems to me more something they did hoping they weren't caught and the internet noticed, so they had to apologize for the "whoopsie".

Notice the apology did not address why it was so wrong, nor air the correct thing.

Did you know Donald Trump got charged with multiple felonies for attempting to overturn the 2020 election. Those charges were dismissed without prejudice when he won the 2024 election bwcause I think there is a policy saying a sitting president cannot be prosecuted.
Dismissed without prejudice means the charges can come back and might come back after he leaves office.

Donald Trump is a person who doesn’t like to admit his failures.
Joe Biden even said on stage in front of people that he does not speak or debate as well as he used to. Joe Biden himself acknowledged that he was having a congitive decline. It’s not unusual for people his age to have congitive declines. As people get older their organs get weaker. The brain is an organ.
