Have you ever been to a Trump rally, if so how was it?

No, but I've heard a recording of one; I was getting concerned about what people were telling me he said, and he kept claiming in was all taken out off context, so I asked a guy who was going to one to record it for me, so I could see if that was true.

As I expected, the rhetoric was kind of extreme, but the media spin DID tend to flip nhings around and present them in the worst light they could, to demonize the man. Obviously, you're going to get lots of raucous adulation at a political rally; what I heard reminded me most of what Obama got, when many saw him as the political Messiah, come to save us from the evils of Dubya. Kind of like having Stalin save you from the evils of Hitler, in retrospect, but we didn't know that at the time.

Just... just don't vote for a President from Illinois, okay? We gavo the country three so far: Lincoln, Reagan, and Obama. "I use the Constitution as a suggestion", "I use the Constitution as a party hat", and " I use the Constitution as toilet paper". The next one will probably make reading it a crime.

I have, and it was one of the most amazing political events I’ve ever seen. A politician with defined ideas and an action plan, whose every word was hung on by a respectful crowd who didn’t push or fight or trash the airport hangar it was held in. The only attacks or violence were from the protestors outside. This was before his first victory on the campaign trail; things changed after that and not necessarily all for the good, but that candidate trump rally was outstanding. It’s interesting observing the changes before office and then afterwards when it’s all damage control and political infighting. I miss the visionary idea man.

No, but I went to a Trump boat parade. I was during the summer of 2020. I was going to the beach anyway and thought I would check it out. I live in a real moonbat state so I only expected a couple of dozen boats. There were more than 2000 boats. All different kinds from small motor boats to big sailboats. All with American flags and Trump banners. I had to park a half mile away from the beach. There were thousands of people lined up on the beach with flags and Trump T-shirts. There was no violence and everyone seemed to have a good time. It got hardly any press coverage on the fake news.

I've been to rallies for two different presidents, but not Trump. There is no way in hell I'd go to a Trump rally.

As for treating him like the messiah, all presidential rallies are like that. It's almost entirely strong supporters who go.

i went with a co worker in 2019. it was fun we didn't get in but they had the speech on big screens outside and people talked and laughed and ate. most people there were not hardcore "for" him they were just curious.
