This question was inspired by the movie, "what is a woman." I am more curious if we can define what a woman is in the modern day with transgenderism and what people's opinions are

No, I saw the movie "what makes a woman" on Daily Mail and wanted to have a conversation about it on here. The question was more orientated towards transgenderism and how we define gender, sex, male, and female now-a-days.

For me, a transgender "woman" is a man who has had surgery to try to look like a woman, and who dresses and tries to act like a woman, but every cell of his body has XY chromosomes. And that "vagina" will never experience the birth of a baby, and those "boobs" will never nurse a baby. These people can wish to be a woman every minute for the rest of their lives but they were born male and they will never be equal to a woman who was born as a woman.

A female person - a woman or a girl. an individual of the sex that is typically capable of bearing young or producing eggs.

You can't really define a word with the word or a synonym of the word. However, the second part is getting somewhere. So, a woman is purely physical and has zero to do with personality or personal opinion?

You are what you are born as. Personality and personal opinion has nothing to do with it. A biological female can like masculine things, wear men's clothing, but that doesn't magically change this person's biological sex. I don't even understand the "personal opinion" argument. How can you feel like something that you've never been. I can't say that I feel like a woman, when I have no idea what being a woman feels like.

That being said, I have no problem referring to a transwoman as exactly that, a transwoman, but she is not a biological female, therefore she will never be a woman.
