Sounds rough. Could you look for a better-paying job? Or at least one that is more enjoyable? Train to do something else? Then save money until you have enough that you aren't living paycheck to paycheck.

Get a degree in something, that can also be a good way to move up the ladder

Get a job working for the government, put in your 20 years and collect a nice pension. Then find a job that you like and do not care that it does not pay 6 figures.
