Is Juneteenth just for black people?

I was reading about Juneteenth, and it doesn't seem like anything I would want to do. I hate strawberry soda, soul food, and dancing. Also, I think Maya Angelou is just some whiny no-talent tootler. I also hate being reminded of the War of Northern Aggression and factories closing down because people had to defend State's rights. I don't understand why I have to celebrate this, unless it's like taxes, another way for the Feds to bend you over.
