Do female bosses and leaders end up being controlling and mucromanagers?

Nope, or rather it’s not really gender specific. A good manager can be a guy or girl, a lot comes down to the person, their experience before and as a manager, their people skills, also if they are a leader and manager or simply a manager. Then it depends on their style.

i have had some amazing boss who were women and guys, equally I have had some shit ones who were women and guys.

I have been in the professional world long enough to see a very noticeable pattern with female bosses versus male bosses. I have never personally had any issues with female bosses. They have always treated me fine. But I have noticed those same female bosses tend to treat other women very differently. They are much harder on female subordinates than male ones. I've never understood that.
