Do you think that the fentanyl into the United States is a smooth operation - maybe even too smooth?

It's made mostly in China and shipped to Mexico and distributed throughout the United States. This process seems well orchestrated and very rarely do they get caught smuggling the fentanyl. Kids are getting it off the internet. They think they are getting a drug they like, but it's Fentanyl and they take it and die. Fentanyl is everywhere on the streets of America 🇺🇸. To me, the whole operation seems to be running way to smooth - like maybe deals were made to get it to the USA. What say you?

When fentanyl is being cut into cocaine, a drug that is meant to do precisely the opposite of fentanyl, I get the impression its a purposeful act meant to eliminate drug addicted people.
Aslong as we have beaten, molested and abused kids, we'll have drug addicts. That problem will never go away.

@JustiReno Generally speaking with downers fentanyl makes sense. Heroin is the most common drug where fenanyl is added, if it doesn't od the person taking it it gives them a stronger high.
But cocaine is expensive and its buyers are generally partiers with a decent bit of money, not people you want dying off. And you dont want to be the dealer known for selling coke that puts you to sleep either.

Either dealers are fucking dumb as shit, not at all unlikely half the time, or fentanyl is being introduced to the supply to kill or turn away drug users. In my opinion, either to restart the war on drugs and all the sweet sweet government grant money it comes with, or simply to kill off unwanted members of society.

I didn’t know people were doing coke laced with fentanyl I thought they were popping pills? I think the drug game is pretty complicated - violence is allowed so some people may profit directly others indirectly. If fentanyl was ever added to cocaine in large quantities it was probably done as an experiment, though I’ve never heard of this. I’ve heard of meth and heroin being mixed in E pills, blue dolphins, triple stacks, etc.

@JustiReno it might be anecdotal but where I live we got people mixing it in everything but pot and mushrooms. Everything has to be tested before use. And crack/cocaine hasn't escaped its touch either.

Are you in Latvia? I’ve never seen or heard anyone taking fentanyl before but I’m not in that crowd. In USA it really seems like meth is the biggest drug.

@JustiReno no I keep my country unknown. Most every drug is here though, meth has been picking up for a few years. And fentanyl is in almost everything.

Not my crowd either, but its so common place here that its basically impossible to not see it or have someone in your social circle involved in it.

You have no idea how big some of these groups are. They have perfected what they do over many years, it's a multi billion dollar business. I don't thi k they have deals with the fet

But I do think they spend a lot of time and money to do test runs with people who are either suckers or willing to be caught in exchange for money. They will sneak in in through container ships, submarines, suitcases and any other way they can think of.

I also believe that there are probably some people who do have deals worked out with the government and perhaps one or more of these people are bringing it in and quickly selling it off to another large organization without the government realizing.

Yes, it is flooding the country killing tens of thousands of Americans. It is the leading cause of death for people 18-40. So yes it is a pretty smooth operation. It comes through the southern border where Biden has a open border policy so the cartels can ship it in here by the ton.

Where do they get the raw opium to make fentanyl? Afghanistan produces 85% of the worlds opium, it was the Shan state in Burma during the vietnam war, the Sicilian mob and CIA helped bring it in to USA just like the CIA helped the Columbians bring in coke. Now that the taliban control Afghanistan, I believe opium production will be seriously cut but we’ll see

I watched a short documentary about it awhile back. It's pretty crazy, but I do with one of the Mexican drug workers when the journalist asked him if he feels bad for giving drugs to Americans and he said, "No. Americans know what they're doing. They make the choice themselves." Which is true.

Too smooth or not, people don't have to take what is being given, but they do and then become addicted to it.

You asked a good question which is that why if we have border patrol, a wall and we know what’s going on then why does it still come through?
Makes you wonder if there is multiple countries involved such as a country supplying it to itself. USA and china are the biggest trading partners and fentanyl happens to be something we trade for.

@Andres77 I have to disagree here. These aren't Fentanyl overdoses, they are Fentanyl poisonings. There is a big difference.
If you went to the store to buy some Tylenol (as an example) and you came home and took one and you died because it really wasn't Tylenol but Fentanyl instead. Would we call your death an overdose or a poisoning? That's the difference!

Tylenol laced with cyanide in the late 70's is what spurred "tamper proof"packaging to begin with.

The numbers are starting to become alarming and Fentanyl has accounted for over 70% of deaths between the ages of 14 -20. Way more than Covid, cancer, accidents and suicide.

@exitseven would you blame the parents of a 14 year old for not being aware of what their kids do... would you blame cops for tolerating drug dealers just because their happen to be their friends, cousins, or neighbors and not exactly just the dealers on the streets from any gangs? would you blame all of the American networks that distribute these drugs and take their cut from every sell? would you blame the DEA, the FBI and others for looking away for years while trying to get the heads of the operation, instead of cutting the every day supply that is killing all these 14 year olds? would you blame all those border and port agents and institutions that allow shipments of drugs go through every day because it is a billionaire business they profit on?

or you would rather keep it simple and just say nah... none of that matters, it was China and Mexico's fault... because they stirred the barrel in which these drugs active substances were made that is the only thing that matters and the one and only culprit

I was around in the 80s when drugs were everywhere. I blamed rock stars and movie stars. The Beatles, Rolling Stones and guys like Robert Downing Jr. They were role models whether they liked it or not. It is indeed a complex problem
