Quest for Knowledge.
Adam ate of a tree called "the tree of knowledge... of good and bad" Genesis chapter 3
So God said "ok you think you know more than me, you go learn what you can to make it work, outside my guarden"
So like a teenager, we started arguing with God about what is good and bad.
He singled out a group of people who wanted to follow God. And when they did they did awesome. But that arguing over good and bad, still got in the way.
And today we go to war over it even though we all agree war and killing is not good.

Its not the quest for knowledge that is the problem. its THINKING we already KNOW IT ALL.

I think it’s simply to exist, like a rock just exists. But I think I would say my “goal” is to do the most “good” by attaining knowledge and skill. Good to humans, the planet, my family, etc. There is some kind of drive there to be helpful by doing what most others can’t or won’t do. To figure something out that has yet to be figured out. Provide my children with the opportunity to do what I can’t. Mostly in the form of education, morals and money.
