Young white American men like myself get a bad rep. We are seen as reckless and uncaring. We are enemies of our elders and people from other countries, especially Canadian Border agents (they hunt us when we go up on vacation there).

I wish i could fast forward 20 years of my life. I wouldn't be hassled so much and i'd be more worldly. Or at least change my nationality and be Dutch or British or Canadian (I'm half Dutch and half British by the way).

Young folks would bow before me and show respect.

Both ends of that age spectrum have negative effects. I’m 20 years old and what you mentioned is an issue now, but if I were older, I would be looked at as having outdated things that I believe, and also would be called a boomer
