Why was Jayland Walker shot at by 8 police officers in such a brutal way just for running away?

Well because he was running away he reached for his pants the officers don’t know whether or not he’s carrying a gun or not so they open fired. This is one of the issues of not knowing your opponent but officers have within seconds of a response time any of the officers could be dead if he had on him.

he was outmanned, outgunned. your reasoning is very poor. the people justfying the police actions claiming he fired a gun out of his car made more sense. but him having a gun in his car doesn't make much sense, if he's being chased by police, he doesn't have time to place a pistol in the back of his car so clean looking with the cartridge layed out next to the gun very clean next to the gun in the back seat. he would have had to walk to the back of his car while it was moving slowly and then jump out of the front seat. did he jump out of the front seat or the back seat? if he was using the gun prior, then it woud make more sense. but either way, it looks bad on the cop part of things, but things are starting to look a little bad for jayland to. this is the most mysterious and hard to analyze case we got. even the trayvon one was more clear cut than this.

Shooting someone in the leg is harder than you think. Handguns are not all that accurate. Add in a running target and the adrenalin rush, and the shot gets even harder. Defensive shooters are trained to shoot "Center of mass." Not because it is deadlier, but because it is the biggest and less moving part of the body. EVEN THEN... out of all bullets fired by Police in the line of duty... only about 7% hit their target.

@WilliamPamer446 all I’m saying is cops don’t know the situation if one officers thinks he heard a gun shot they get panicked regardless if there 1 cop or 60 imagine being there is a gun and you’re the cop that gets shot and dies and a result. Your wife and kids are left husbandless and fatherless. Every day cops put there lives on the line. They don’t want to get shot just as much as the criminals they are pursuing don’t want to get shot either. When you run like this kid did cops don’t know what he’s going to do they heard he is armed so what are cops suppose to get shot and ask questions later? Or are they going to fire because they don’t want to take a chance of getting shot. You gotta think what would you do if you were in that situation. Most people would have done exactly what these cops did.

Also shooting in the arm or leg is stupid. You aim for center mass back stomach chest you don’t aim for the head because you liable to miss same with arms and legs. This isn’t a Clint Eastwood western

What I don't understand is, it's only legal to shoot at someone running away when they are a danger to others as they are running, such as they are shooting at people as they run. If they rob a bank then run away, you can't shoot them. If they shoot someone then run away, you can't shoot them. If they get a parking ticket then run towards a cop with a gun, then the cop can shoot them. But not committing a crime and then running away.

Dont be nervous buddy. My advice is try to stay calm and get along when you have to. Not saying this is easy or works every time. Its not easy to "not be nervous" I have major anxiety and OCD, but I try to remain calm when I have to and it seems to work, even when you I am nervous I try to remain as calm as I can and not show the anxiety that much and try to remain confident.

There not gonna kill you over something petty, the news may make it seem like that but that stuff doesn't happen as often as it seems and the full context of the cases is often not fully known to the public or ever known.

In events like these, we go by the footage. I judge these neutrally and objectively, not cop bias or black people biased.
