It's not really the point. Like I said I highly doubt you only have sex to reproduce. Infact I'm sure you have sex for more reasons that don't involve reproducing.

By your logic which I assume is if you don't want kids then don't have sex, then if you don't want to get into a car crash don't drive, if you don't want to choke, don't eat, if you don't want to drown, don't swim. It's really stupid when you apply the logic elsewhere right?

If you had the ability to make a decent analogy, maybe. I don’t want to die in a car crash, so I take driving lessons, I wear a seatbelt, I buy cars with airbags, and I don’t drive 18 wheelers because I couldn’t handle one. I don’t want to drown so I take swimming lessons, if the surf is too rough I stay out of the water. I don’t want to choke, so I chew my food.

So yes. Use birth control if you don’t want to get pregnant, but if you can’t afford that, then keep your legs closed. It’s really simple.

You can still get into a car crash if you take driving lessons, wear a seatbelt and have a safe car. You can still choke even if you're very careful about chewing your food. You can still drown even if you're a confident swimmer and you can still get pregnant if you use birth control.
