This doesn't offend me at all but rather makes me feel sorry for the person saying that for many reasons.
One is that they're acting extremely immature by sending insults towards someone, and someone they know won't harm them, at that.
Another is that bullying is evil and it's exactly what a peace officer is trying to stop as their fundamental duty.
Next is that by making a baseless insult at someone they don't know, they're projecting their own insecurity and self hatred onto someone else in an attempt to bring them down to their level, a quest that will inevitably fail.
I don't view victim's of bullying as weak at all, it's no coincidence that bullies come in pairs after a single person, using their numbers to make the person submit to their will to make themselves feel powerful because deep down, the bullies are fully aware of how weak and pathetic they all are and they want someone else to feel like them.
Lastly is that they're wrong, I was bullied in elementary school but only verbally as they knew if they put their hands on me, I'd fight back and they'd have no chance. Although my big brother and parents did physically abuse me as a kid but not anymore as I've grown far bigger and stronger than all of them.
The fact that they'd view someone who is bullied as less than the people doing the bullying says a lot about the kind of person they are and really explains why I, as a peace officer are at odds with them, they're one of the people who bullied others and their refusal to respect other's rights led to them losing their rights as punishment.
The fact that they can't see how bad they look when saying that also saddens me. What's your take?
