Yesterday US CPI inflation came at 9.1% it's a 40yr high... So it's just matter of time that US fall into recession?

Yes... Sort of.
The recession has nothing to do with inflation.
It has to do with raising interest rates sufficiently to wipe inflation out.
After that happens, then the Federal Government will do some deficit-spending such as tax cuts or infrastructure projects that will kick-start the economy again.
This is just like what happened when Paul Volcker became Fed Chair in the latter part of the Carter Administration killing inflation and then Reagan did all that deficit spending with tax cuts and defense spending.

Recession is always just a matter of time. It's part of a regular cycle. I don't know how many recessions I've lived through but it's a lot. I just ignore all the hype. If the media and politicians didn't make such a big deal out of it they would be milder.

I mean what exactly were you expecting? You can't just print money like that and not get inflation. Inflation is a policy decision. As you print more dollars, you reduce the scarcity of dollars that are currently in the market which makes them less valuable. When you print exponentially, you should expect exponential inflation. 9.1% is nothing compared to what is coming... This is a hyper inflationary situation.

Recession is basically guaranteed at this point. But a recession has been coming a long time interest rates have been stupid low for way too long and have propped up zombie companies that make no money. Inflation has been mostly focused around food and energy lots of that is from the Russian war in Ukraine even though inflation was on its way up before.

I think inflation made top around 9.1% energy prices are fallen quit a bit in June... July number will be surprised

That seems to be how it works.
Many years ago they had win buttons, for whip inflation now, and price controls were in place so that you couldn't raise prices to help control inflation.

Well, we're probably already in recession, but with high inflation and higher interest rates on the way, it looks unavoidable at this point.

Not necessarily. Unemployment and job growth are okay. Also, 40 years ago was 1982. There was no recession in 1983 or 1984.
