EU is the 4th biggest buyers of farm equipment and second biggest when it comes to American cars export market but we be "doing US dirty by not buying their stuff" and taking "advantage" of the biggest victim in this world: Americans, who have no fault in their own situation. Inflation is necessary at this point if we are to raise the value of the dollar. Economic easing policies, i. e. market manipulation, have put us in this situation. The United States of America is the largest producer and refiner of crude oil and natural gas in the entire world. It's you that gets hurt on oil prices not America when tariffs are applied. America already produces more oil per day than we consume. We export a lot of it, because our sweet light crude is the best in the world and is in high demand. The issue for oil in America is that previous administrations funded refinery projects to encourage importation of sour heavy crude from global markets so that they could influence supply shocks. America can and will produce more sour heavy crude to cater to the refining capacity of the United States through projects in the Gulf of America and on the North Slope of Alaska. We have the oil, regulation has just been used to block use of it. As of day one of Trump entering office those regulations have been stripped and new oil projects are underway to mine more sour heavy crude so that America is completely energy independent. The vastness of your ignorance is staggering.

When it comes to oil drilling, if a company has more lax regulations a frack well can be set up in 3 to 4 days in the field. America already has pipelines, refineries, and logistics networks. It can happen much faster than you'd think... You'll learn that the hard way soon enough.

America is the largest exporter of food in the world. America is the bread basket of the world. We produce way more food than we need and export it to other nations to feed them. So again, you get hurt we do not. Certain luxury foods can go up in price due to tariffs, but they aren't what people need to survive. The real effect of tariffs on the food supply in the USA would be that countries around the world will be less able to import as much of our food to their countries as they use to be able to afford. They will go hungry, and domestic companies will be forced to sell it locally in the USA for lower prices if there is a reduction in demand. This leads to lower prices at the grocery store for American consumers, but makes large companies slightly less profitable.

You don't understand the vastness of American food production and that we export food to feed the world, that it isn't the other way around. You've shown you really don't know anything.

When it comes to the North Slope of Alaska, currently the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System is only operating at about a quarter of it's capacity at the moment. Thus Alaskan oil production of sour heavy crude could be increased 4 fold without running into infrastructure issues. Drilling in the Gulf of America is really just limited by oil leasing restrictions set by Democrats which have been stripped by Trump. American refining capacity could handle roughly double the current rate of American crude production nation wide. Currently we are refining many other nations oil production. If we boost domestic production which we will do, then other nations will have an issue finding a refinery and suffer and America will do just fine.

Allowing people to ransack any store they wanted without jail time, as long as they didn't steal $1000 worth per person was a HUGE factor on raising prices!!
