Inflation is occurring everywhere. Try living in NZ, the UK or Australia at the moment. Holy crap, it's horrendous. I'm lucky in that I'm relatively well-off, but so many people are going under, winding up homeless or unemployed, having to decide between paying the bills or buying food. Petrol is a luxury.
