I wish it WAS repealed. That would return more power BACK to the individual states. It would also force people to pay attention to whom they vote for at the state level, since those individuals would be appointing the Senators.

The way it is now... it's like you have 2 Houses of Representatives, rather than 2 separate legislative bodies.

While they're at it, repeal the 19th Ammendment too!
