Would you say you are against Gen Z as a millennial?
So I am of "Gen X" , or as I like to refer to as the lost generation or disposable generation. Boomers dominated the political environment, you think Gen Z are entitled little witches, these Boomers aren't much better.
Gen X has been and will be over looked, but we are the ones that nobody ever did anything for honestly. But we are the ones that stood up and fought and won wars. Boomers lost Vietnam and Desert Storm was like what 100 hours long.
Currently Millennials out number Boomers, but Gen Xers are not projected to outnumber Boomers until 2028, when there will be about 63.9 million Gen Z'ers and 62.9 million Boomers. But Millennials are 72.1 million, and Gen X is 67 million.
Yeah so people like me that are from Gen X don't really give a shit, because Boomers have dominated us for ever and Millennials and Gen X are cry babies. I means seriously as Gen X you had to go out their and fight for it, and earn it. But now we got all these Millennials, and Gen X types complaints about how hard and unfair everything is, with their Woke and LGBTQ Bull shit agenda.
Seriously, Gen Z at most you're 24/ 25 years old and seriously what have you done or contributed to the this country yet? You only been a tax payer for like what 4 to 5 years at most... your still drowning in college debt and you will struggle to stay right where you are... cry me a river tight? Boomers did nothing for Gen X when it was us that was under foot, but we survived.
GEN X would ally with you guys on a lot of issues, but instead you all want to cry over gays, and social injustice crap. Gen X doesn't give a shit about any of that... we are pissed off over taxes and broken promises... the promises they will lie to you about but your too young to start caring yet and when you do it will be too late to do anything about it... so honestly there little hope for much because by the time the Boomers die off there will be a whole new Generation of weak, pansy ass whinnies crying about their bath water.

See I wouldn't say you don't matter first of all and second the meme it's not that I "forgot gen X" it's that I was getting a picture really fast and it didn't happen to have gen x in all honesty all generations could be disgraceful it doesn't matter what generation, it just matters if you have a messed up thought process.

Old people say "You kids have it so easy" yet teen suicide and teen over dose rate is the highest its ever been. To me, old people ruin everything for younger people and then they want to blame it on younger generation and say "these kids are so lazy", bullshit. They say "These kids have it easy", yet they probably couldn't last a min dealing with all the asylum. That most teens have to deal with. There is even studies that show teens have more stress than 1950s psychiatric patients in asylums.
Every generation has their issues. (Sometimes it's even the same exact issues.)
It's good to have some objectivity and not be super defensive when critiqued. Being assessed is a part of life and people can't be so fragile that they crumble at the first sight of it.
But I don't think any generation is 'the worst.'
I get attacked for being female, older, boomer (which I am not; I'm Gen X), you name it. They're low-hanging fruit, take little brainpower or finesse. People who go after others in such a way really show how little respect they have for people. Making things instantly personal, based on almost no info, and ignoring the topic, deflecting from their own statements which someone disagrees with, speaks of their character. So no need to mud sling. I could list some criticisms that are common nowadays of both Millennials and Gen Z, but what's the point. It just puts people on the defensive, at odds with one another. But you commenting on your own gen is fine. You have every right to state your observations. It speaks highly of your character.

Millennials as a generation have been impacted by 2-3 recessions, a major terrorist attack, the Afghanistan and Iraq war, crippling student loan debt, and now our parents are aging/dying. Oh and we remember life before the internet.

I donāt really know many gen z ers. I think to generalize and think of entire age groups as a single entity is not really the way to go. I like the they will know how to basically be cyborgs and function seamlessly with the machines running everything. I grew up with the first home computer, and VHS tapesā¦my nephew is growing up with a tablet in his hand. I mean I thought gameboy was amazing when it came outā¦he literally using a machine that was more powerful than the thing I used with windows 95. Its just evolution
Not all of gen z. But I have had some interactions and seen somethings that do have made me start turning against them. It comes from a massive amount of entailment and too many of them being weak. It also seems like some think they are entitled to everything and want to be a victim for the benefit of getting sympathy from others or to attack others for a imagined slight using an easy excuse to do so

In my opinion, gen Z is a continuation of everything I hate about gen Y/millennials and their only saving grace is that they simply don't know any better.

Not against Iām just not able to understand certain things. Generational shocks been happening since forever it happened the same with my grandparents, my parents and the same cycle is going to repeat when I have kids.
I'm not against Gen Z at all. I think their slang terms and music are cringey as all hell, but that's probably just a sign that I'm getting old and irritable.

Millenials are "those who were born in 2000, those who graduated [high school] in 2000, and all those in between". So September of 81 through December of 2000. After that comes Gen Z; I'm not sure if a cutoff point for them has been chosen yet.
