The oldest Zoomers today are around age 27-29(depending on if you use Pew Research Center's cohort as 1997 being the starting year or Jean Twenge's cohort as 1995 being the starting birth year) yet many old farts still think Gen Z'ers are all children.

I don't, but I wouldn't, considering I am Gen Z and I am an adult. I do see older people (Gen X and up) often using 'Gen Z' to refer to Gen Alpha, I think because they just don't realize where the cutoff is. Of course, some other people fully do know where the cutoff is and they're just intentionally talking down to Gen Z.
