Would you say Gen Z is the most childish or childlike generation?

This has overwhelmingly been my experience when interviewing applicants, or interacting with gen Z for really any reason. On occasion, there's a good apple from a based family or one who conversely was forced to "grow up" young due to trouble at home, but this is at most, 10%.

Maybe a year ago, a bunch of conservative podcasters were praising Gen Z as being some kind of pendulum swinging back against the trends of Gen Y, and I think they were dead wrong; it's more of the same in almost all respects to a greater extreme.

As bad as Gen Z is, I find Millennials a tad more pathetic overall because they're all fully grown ass adults in their 30s-early 40s now, yet they still behave like middle schoolers and high schoolers especially when it comes to political discussions.

They have like no self-esteem at all. Working with them on the job makes me feel like I am a baby sitter. This one girl at the job is dumb and she's just not getting it. She can't pay attention for two seconds.

I just let her sit on the side on her phone because she's just doesn't understand the work at all. she's one of those affirmative action hires. I wish they give me a guy to work with.

The only issues with the Gen Z guys is they are kind of a bitch made man. But at least they do something. They are kind of a p--ssy they at least do something and they care about their work. The girl getting paid a ton of money like me and she does nothing.

I voted no. I haven't seen any material evidence to support that.

But they are going to be more f'd up, having grown up completely immersed in social media. Mental health is already pretty much in the toilet right now, what with covid, economic devastation, etc. And now you've got kids growing up feeling even more anxious, because they think their real life is on the internet. Doesn't bode well for their self-esteem and attention spans. (Though technically, apparently our attention spans are the same as they have ever been. Which is odd.)

every generation has its problems, and soon the people younger than us will look at us like we're old and ignorant, but it seems like we're the worst at dealing with problems and everything is very unstable right now, no surprise
