I don't get why people want to defund the police. Like how is that going to help? defunding them will just lead to worse training, less police, more crime, and all the hardworking police will leave for a paying job. Why don't we focus on making legislations for better, more thorough police training.

If I saw you in Europe I would agree. Drug dealers, murderers, gangs wrecking our streets, communists burning entire cities, all these things and so much more exist because the police allows it. The people are not allowed to defend themselves and whoever does must fight at court for justice and avoid jail time. I have respect for police officers in America. In Europe they can go to hell. They are the enemy of the people.

I have no doubts that there are scumbags in the US police force. All I'm saying is that I get a much different vibe whenever I see American police officers in all those videos online. And what's more, officers in the US actually get killed because they live in constant danger every single day. Good luck seeing any policemen in Europe taking down criminals when they are too busy arresting working class people who refuse to let their children be sexualised at school. I literally heard the chief of the police force in a European country un-ironically telling the people that if a bad guy breaks into their house they should pretend they're sleeping and let him take whatever he wants.

You may not like what the police are doing and have legitimate criticism about their honour, actions, or policies.

That they don't under stand that defunding the police will only make things worse. We don't need to defund the police, we need to demilitarize the police. If any thing we need to increase funding for areas such as better training and pay and we need more community over of police.
