Would India have been the most powerful country if the British had not plundered India?
Nation and power?
Would India have been the most powerful country if the British had not plundered India?
India wouldn't even be a COUNTRY if the UK hadn't come in, much less a powerful one. And the British, for all their sins, didn't plunder them; they BUILT them. The Mughals plundered them, though.
But that runs against your precious narrative, so...
Did not know much but I guess it is friendly therefore not powerful. It is still uncomfortable you are the most powerful person if you are not that kind of person. Ashoka Shakyamuni Buddha
Gandhi. They were powerful people but give up it.
Maybe. I actually thought about this other day lol if the British didn't invade everywhere how different the world would be.

My understanding is that the British brought with them structure, method, and railways. They weren't always fair to India but 'plundered' does not seem appropriate. 'appropriated' is probably closer.
Since I don't know how India was getting on before the British, not sure I can answer your question further.
India is the most valuable country today because they are the X-Factor... Russia, China, N. Korea, Middle East... USA, Europe, Japan, South America less Venezuela and Cuba
Didn't got uhh completely my bro... will uhh please elaborate it
India probably could not have- it's hard to centralize power there and to unite anyone on anything.
👍👍
A nation that -among others- has a monkey god... cannot be taken for serious.

My name is 'Andreas Wolf Klunker'.
And for ''political correctness'' I will not alter what I had reflected well enough.
As a Christian, it's okay to me if others make jokes on Jesus - and I'm tolerant about it. I claim the same right in return.
As I had numerous contacts to Indians already, I feel (for myself) safe enough to loathe this ''culture'' (sic!).
Hate me if you so please, or convince me otherwise.
LoL of course not. They can't even pay taxes and implement sanitation properly. There's only so much you can blame on colonialism
The country has been independent for 75 years - plenty of time to get it together.
It just MIGHT have something to do with their social system...
