They raised my rent $115/mo. for a studio apartment in a very bad neighborhood. My electric bill tripled to $153, which includes my discount. This leaves me with very little to buy my food. And they say it will only get worse in weeks to come. I'm going to be in a real bind if this keeps getting worse. I'm so sad 😶

It could get very bad this fall and winter when the effects of the grain shortage hit. It’s not Russia’s fault. Most of the inflation we’re seeing is due to the massive spending bill Biden pushed when he got into office. Some places are seeing rent increase due to massive immigration and the government settling immigrants into hotels and apartments. There was a fertilizer shortage as early as last year and sanctions on Russian fertilizer and grain (then backing down too late) was a Western decision. Also, the Netherlands and now Canada have decided to limit fertilizer use to fight global warming. Basically, the USG is doing all it can to stoke inflation and the only entity fighting it is the Federal Reserve Bank with rate increases during a recession, which could make the recession severe.

Its super easy to start a vanguard or robinhood account and auto deposit $50 a month. Then when these hard times hit, you’ll surprise yourself with a few grand you didn't know was there.

Or check all your accounts for cash loans. Credit cards have real high percentages. But my life insurance gave us 5% and her 401k gave us 3.5% when we needed the down payment.

Fortunately my cost for housing has been stable and our utility bill is very reasonable (I pay about $150 per month.) Food costs have increased but I buy at Costco and still get relatively good prices.

It's hitting us big time. Gasoline, home propane, groceries and everything else have gotten way more expensive. The only thing that hasn't gone up is the fixed rate on our mortgage.
We are struggling unsuccessfully to pay our monthly bills without dipping into our IRA retirement account.

What's happening is rape, plain and simple. It's planned and orchestrated. It has nothing to do with Russia or China or climate change or any other nonsense. The globalists are in the process of amassing profit by sucking government and individual assets dry and taking ownership. They are like vampires. They don't care who lives or dies. So far, it hasn't hit me too hard although, at least one of my bills is pretty big compared to what it used to be. I spend most of my time here at the house so, prices haven't bugged me much for just over a year. Only root beer prices have gone up on me and those of the Dollar Tree.

i make a good Salary and never have to worry about paying bills. It’s one of the benefits of working your ass off your whole life. So we’re comfortable for now but I know some folks are really desperate. Not those on welfare, mind you (Newport cigarettes and wild irish rose sales haven’t diminished in the slightest). But low income workers are in a very volatile situation:

Only with shipping packages. I see now that Ebay sellers are claiming media mail to save money. I bought a Johnny Bench Bronze coin and he said it was Media to save $2 . It is dishonest , but he saves $2 , now if he does that 100 times , he saves $200 on shipping.

I am so efficient with my business , gas prices have not hurt as bad. I also use electric trimmers.
