Why are fighting giraffe cuter than fighting people?

They're very goofy creatures. Out in the wild they have a very awkward run that looks like low quality animation, almost like a boat on legs. They're also not ideal for eating so the ones I saw in Africa had learned to basically ignore hunters and other humans and would just awkwardly stare at you, not that you'd actually want to get close to them because they could easily kill a person and have been known to donkey-kick cars.
