How do you deal with people when they come at you with all their problems and stupidity?

Mostly I avoid people for this very reason. But if that's not an option the best bet is to live in an area with some sort of local or state help and direct them towards it. If they refuse then there is no reason to pity them - they are refusing the help that they need because it isn't then help that they want. In most cases that's why the help they need is set up the way it is - so they prioritize their needs over their wants. If they aren't going to do that there is nothing you can do to help them.

If I care about them I listen, if I don't I'll just keep the conversation short, well it usually doesn't happen because I'm more of the bad guy that's in private a good guy, so if I don't want to listen to their problems I'll just keep my bad guy persona up

I ignore them completely, their triggers are their responsibility, its not my job to tap dance around their hurt fkn feelings.

I do have that face that people think i care about their problems. But then i use that intel to my own needs.
