You avoid to talk with them. If you have to, you limit your response to necessary minimum. An idiot will always outperform you in idiocy if you start to compete with them in this discipline and they don't want compete with you in everything else.

I find that most people are really not stupid. They just are lacking in knowledge. I tell my students that the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. I have worked in IT for many years and have dealt with people of different levels of technical expertise. I do not talk down to any of them because everyone has to start somewhere.

The best thing to do is ignore them, it's a waste of time and energy to deal with them. Just ignore them. But every now and then I'm in that mood to troll them and it's funny to see them go crazy. Time well wasted.

It's not ignorance, it's bad to be a malicious idiot, and that's what I meant. For example, to a person he has never met, just because he does not agree with him. For example, swearing without reading exactly what it says.

Swearing is not necessarily a sign of ignorance. Studies have shown that those who use more profanity than others have been shown to also be more honest than average, as well as having more advanced vocabularies. Now, if they’re angry and cussing you out specifically, that’s not ignorance as much as just a lack of emotional control
