Almost nothing. I think taking care of the children would come closest, but people won't agree on the best way to go about it. Actually if you look at it, agreeing on the best way to go about things is almost always where the disagreement is.
When I was young and would have been considered very liberal by any measure, I turned conservative in a fairly short period of time. I didn't change my ideology at all. I didn't change my views on the problems we face at all. The only thing that happened was to realize that liberalism was full of idealistic thought but not realistic solutions.
For example I'm a hard core supporter of capitalism. But in the first few chapters of Marx's Manifesto, I agree with most of what he says. He outlines very legitimate problems, especially when taken in context of the time when he wrote. It's his solutions I disagree with, especially in the modern world, which is very different than the world he wrote about.
If you look at most of the big political issues, it's about methodology, not the problem being addressed.

Both agree that family members should be the most important people to them. Both agree that terrorism will always be a threat.
Here is the one I find most interesting: Both agree that democracy is at risk. However, the way they present their argument is worded differently. Democrats think we can't have fair elections when one party wants to overthrow the government or restrict voting. Republicans think we can't have fair elections when one party uses censorship, dark money, and cheating to steal elections. Democrats forgot how they claimed that Trump did not win the election fairly and that he was somehow connected to the Russians. Some republicans still don't believe that Biden won the election fairly because of fraud and censorship.
That no one wants to be homeless or starving.
Many want to protect the planet but not at a cost that makes themselves end up homeless or starving.
At the same time, most can agree that they are okay with making things harder for others, but not themselves... if it will benefit everyone in the end.

I don't agree with that and I'm sure there are a lot of other people who don't agree with it. There are indeed people who want to be homeless. I personally don't want to be homeless, but I definitely see the appeal to it. You might not understand how it appeals to some people, but it does.
@WindAtMyBack I used to work as a counter / surveyor where I had to search for homeless at large transit hubs. I did it for six months and most of the people I saw were the same. And about half of them didn't even look homeless or helpless. Some even had friends they spoke to. I was shocked. Sometimes they would be taken away into shelters but they ended up back at the transit hub a few days later.

Some people actually pay to go camping. When I see pictures of some of the homeless people I'm envious of the camping gear they have. I have decent camping gear, but some of them have really high quality stuff.
In a way it's the ultimate freedom. I'm a home owner now, and sometimes it feels more like a prison. You have no freedom when you own a house. Even an apartment takes way a lot of freedom.
I used to know a guy who didn't want to own anything that he couldn't fit in a backpack. I was never quite that extreme, but I went several years when I didn't own more than I couldn't fit in a car. Having a lot of possessions is like wearing a ball and chain.
That the elites and government need to go away. They're out of control. L/R, R/D, doesn't matter. We all have more in common with each other than the bullshit labels and issues used to divide us.

There is nothing. Not one thought or idea that every single sentient person can agree on. No matter what you suggest, there’s always going to be at least one person, most likely a group, out there who would disagree either in thought or in practice.

Donald Trump is probably the most polarizing president in US History. You either love/like him or hate him but very few, if any, have no thought at all about him.

Most people in non-American Western countries who not obsessed with US politics will not "love/hate" Donald Trump.
But to bring it back home: MOST of my friends back home were apolitical (that's one thing that made us friends) and also did not care about Trump and did indeed "have no thought about him" (or Biden) at all.
Regardless of all that, Richard Nixon is factually, the most polarizing president in US History.
a lot of newer generations don't even remember Nixon or care since it wasn't in their lifetimes.
Trump affected other western countries specifically Mexico with his racist actions and he redid trade with Canada as well which had effects on them so I dont feel you countered my argument there. He was covered heavily in both countries media for things he said and did.
