Is Ayn Rand right?

Ayn Rand was one of the first pseudo intellectuals; says a lot of words, but says absolutely nothing of substance.

I don't even fully disagree with her quote, but it boils down to nothing more than "Powerful people tend to be corrupt and oppressive." Yeah, no f*ckin' sh*t. That's been a thing for thousands of years of human history, and will probably always be a thing.

And why is that? Because people stand by and f*ckin' let it happen. And they're perfectly fine with it, as long as it's "their" side doing all the corruption. Either the blue Democrats or the red Republicans. Or Labour or Unionist. Or whatever the case may be.

Society isn't doomed; humanity is just a sh*t species. And always has been.

Ayn Rand is so right even more so now, that it's scary.
Evil unrighteousness and moral justices will increase over the years.
But if we take heed of this and other lessons and advise in our personal lives and those in our inner circles do as well, We'll be alright. Prepared to go our own way when society is doomed is not for everybody... thankfully.

It's still very true. What changed is that we have two political parties doing the same. But people are too divided, distracted and too busy fighting against each other to come together to fore any needed changes.
