Does anybody have a nonpartisan source on exactly what the issue is with the Trump FBI raid?

I don’t trust anything CNN, MSNBC or the NYT publishes about this. However I don’t trust FOX news either.

My best guess is Trump did something stupid and irresponsible but not criminal. Highly doubt this is a “conspiracy”.

Also this was timed 91 days out from the midterms elections. The FBI can’t publicize politically sensitive investigations 90 days or less from elections. Not a coincidence there. This will impact elections and it has slightly boosted Biden’s approval rating despite this being completely about Trump.

I expect to get polarized responses on this. However I seriously would like to see a referral source that is as nonpartisan as possible (does that still exist?).

Anyway if Trump really did break the law he face the consequences. This is coming from someone who voted for him. With that said Hillary Clinton never had her offices and private residences raided despite clearly violating national security protocols. Emails are easier to hack and can be accessed from anywhere in the world. Documents need to be physically obtained.

Of course I got some political rants on this. I was looking for a nonpartisan source for f*cks sake. Yeah I’m admit I’m a moderate conservative but doesn’t mean I automatically defend trump for f*cks sake 2x.

I just want the truth. Also I stand by my comments about Hillary. Now if Hillary did something wrong that doesn’t mean it’s “okay” for Trump to do something wrong. But I want a nonpartisan source of exactly what happened.

I actually a very interesting theory that this was politically planned by the democrats to intentionally BOOST Trump vs. finally get rid of him. The democrats WANT Trump to get the nomination in 2024 because he’s the only candidate Biden has a slim chance at beating again.

This is the unsealed search warrant of what they took from Mar-A-lago. In that list you will find "2A - Various classified/TS/SCI documents".

So what is TS/SCI Documents? It stands for Top Secret with an extra "Sensitive Compartmented Information". This is not your garden variety Top Secret documents. This is the type that you are only allowed to even see the protective folder of if you are in a protected room specifically for reading these documents. You can't mishandle these documents. Because unless you are the President you are literally physically prevented from doing anything that could even remotely risk pose a risk to them.

Not only did Trump take these away from said secure room but he stored them in an unlocked storage room that anyone could just walk into at any time supposedly. But that is besides the point. He also did not hand them over when he was compelled to do so before the FBI raid.

If anyone else had tried to do this they would not be arrested. They would just "disappear". This is the thing the government is more than happy to kill people over and what spy movies are made from.

Its also worth noting that Trump likes to claim he could declassify anything and everything as he likes because he was the President. That is not true. There are several ways something can be classified and the President has the power over some of these and as such they can submit paperwork to declassify them at their leisure. Trump has claimed that he declassified these documents when he took them simply by intending to declassify them. Not only is this not submitting the required paperwork but these documents are outside the authority of the President to declassify.

So no matter how you look at it, these TS/SCI documents by themselves is a severe crime committed by Trump that would get any other person literally assassinated by the state. This is not even talking about WHY he took these documents and such as possibly selling them to foreign governments. Just the fact that he took them initially is bad enough.

FBI investigated Clinton thoroughly and found she did nothing wrong. You can't assume she had any national security information in the private emails and who are you to make that judgment? Trump is obviously a criminal, keeping nuclear secrets that he could make a ton of money off selling. he just used the presidency to increase his fortune and this was just another way; like the way he uses the presidential seal on his golf courses to attract clients. he will be locked up for good reason.

I know there was an affidavit, a search warrant and the criminal codes that may have been violated, a subsequent raid was performed, and there’s a receipt that somewhat vaguely details what was seized. We know the amount of classified documents and their classification levels, but we may likely never know what the specifics of those materials entail, due to said government classification. We also may not see the affidavit until there’s a trial, if he’s even charged with anything. Until he’s indicted on any formal charges, it’s all just speculation.

We also know that it was Trump himself who made this public, he was the one who announced that the raid had happened. The DoJ and FBI had worked behind the scenes on this for a few months with Trump and his legal team. It was out of left field to the general public and the media, but not to anyone directly involved.

I still don’t even know if the DoJ is going to go after Trump or not, it may have been about the document recovery, primarily. I could envision all kinds of scenarios, and Trump just thinking he could do what he wanted be just waving an imaginary wand and saying “poof! Declassified!” with anything he stepped out of the White House with isn’t that wild of a scenario. But if it’s a threat to have those documents just hanging out at a resort in Florida, it wouldn’t surprise me that the government would take them back forcefully if they weren’t declassified with any sort of documented record. And as far as procedure goes, I would assume the DoJ and FBI, of all people, know full well the kind of political climate there is in the country and know everything needs to be impeccably defensible beyond a reasonable doubt in the face of intensive scrutiny from any supposed political opponents, so I’m sure this thing was either going to be done airtight or not at all. They know Republicans could win Congress, they already said out loud they’d bring them in for their own line of questioning. Merrick Garland was a judge before this, he knows how all this stuff works. I can assure you, if this is on the level or if it’s 100% corrupt, in either case, all the i’s have been dotted, all the t’s have been crossed. This will have been meticulously done because it simply has to be, this would be the biggest criminal case the country has ever seen, it’ll be gone over with a microscope through a magnifying glass.

You could be right, but I've tried to rationalize their behavior for a long time and the best conclusion I could get is that they aren't in control of themselves or acting in their best interest besides seeing trump as an existential threat.

They have actually done brain scans on liberals vs conservatives and seen (not surprisingly) major differences. Liberals are more right brained (creative) and conservatives are more left brained (logical). Also conservatives have more activities in the amyglada which can impact fear and fight/flight responses.

In more normal times this makes more sense. Liberals tend to be more abstract thinkers and creative. They make good artists, musicians, entertainers and comedians. Nothing wrong with that.

But that “abstract” thinking is now twisting reality. That is a biological man believing he is a woman. Maybe it’s a reality for him but he expects the world to conform to “his truth” now.

I know it’s just a waste of time to argue with most leftists. But when they get in positions of power then intrude on freedom, safety and livelihood then people are going to predictable get angry. And we look for an aggressive fighter (Trump) to lead.

But Trump is Scarface. His insane confidence and boldness helped him rise to power but it also leads to his downfall. He doesn’t f*cking listen to anybody, makes false assumptions, harms people close to him and eventually leads to his own self destruction. That’s why I don’t want him to run for office again. He’s his own worst enemy.

That’s one advantage foreigners have over native English speakers. Movies, entertainment, online games, internet, etc are as you said heavily English based. You are indirectly getting basic English lessons.

I am actually trying to improve my Spanish. I am not fluent but I can communicate with basic conversations. But rarely in the US, online or abroad am I in a position where I have no choice to speak Spanish.

I did a 2 month immersion program in Mexico last year. I also volunteer mma coach with a team down in Mexico.

You are right about dialects. For example the word “caliente” means “hot” Spanish. However in Mexico it can be a slang for “horny” if used in the wrong context. So if you feel overheated/sweaty you say “estoy calor” not “estoy caliente” lmao. I also know Brazilians have a very distinct annunciation/accent on how they pronounce syllables. So I can see that being a challenge when learning Spanish or English.

Anyway I sometimes feel embarrassed that so many Americans only speak English. Its easy to say we are lazy but the truth is many of us have never been forced to learn otherwise. I imagine if the mass entertainment, media, etc was in Spanish or Portuguese things would likely be different.
