Does anyone question the FBI's ability to conduct the investigation into Trump's assassination attempt, in a fair and transparent way?

As of right now, I do! It seems they're already having "trouble" performing basic tasks, like hacking into the suspect's phone! This is starting to reek of the Las Vegas shooting. If they don't start providing answers and lack transparency, my view of them will be forever tarnished.

it is expected when democrats *hav authority. they would put effort to investigate "if trump followers are real" to try to make them less, with excuses like "propaganda account" despite a real person... that is how much people hated trump... they can't stand he has many followers!

Phones can be well secured so thats not immediately suspect, thats basically a default. I mostly question the police and secret service after minutes of people pointing it out. They had more than enough time to secure Trump and didn't, so the attack was allowed to happen and there is pretty definitive evidence they allowed it to happen. So my real question is why was it allowed to happen?

Yeah, I just realized it's hard to hack phones! I was reading how the FBI had to take Apple to court to get them to hack the San Bernardino shooter's phone. I didn't realize it was that difficult.

These days the device is already encrypted completely, both iphones and android and then the moment you set a pincode that becomes attached to the encryption keys in a secure processor. You need a known vulnerability to crack it, and especially apple is very good at patching their phones. Not something they can easily defeat unless they have an up to date bypass.

"Transparent". The FBI and other agencies are allowed secrecy. The public does not deserve to know everything. Full disclosure is counter productive to a countries security.

I actually did research and yes, you're correct. I didn't realize it was that difficult. The FBI has actually taken Apple to court to get them to help hack their customer's phone.
