Are BLACK people just as racist as WHITES?

Take for example this video. A hispanic woman who was light skinned enough that she could pass for white was ambushed and attacked by a group of blacks just because she had her hair braided. Apparently, black people see it as insulting if other races want to try the same hairstyle as them.

Similar hate crimes by blacks have been committed in the past. There was a big incident in 2020 of black people targeting and assaulting Asian people. Apparently many black people took out their frustrations of the pandemic by attacking all Asian people in the US. I believe in one attack, an old, hispanic woman was attacked on the subway because she was mistaken for an Asian person

I think they're more racist actually, and they don't even try to hide it, because they know they can get away with it. And the Asian attacks, one Black teacher straight up said that they had it coming, because Asians had been racist against Blacks for decades, and Covid just gave them a "reason".

But yeah, I've traveled to some Black islands where the Blacks were openly racist towards Whites and didn't even have any shame about it. Even on this website, I see Black people posting shit about White people and their posts never get taken down.

Of course not all Black people are bad, but a lot of Blacks, especially from ghetto families are taught from a young age that White people are their enemy and are responsible for all their problems.

I've personally met a lot of Blacks who've been really cool, and they always give me huge tips. But the ones that ARE racist aren't shy about showing it.

But even so, I was talking to this Black South African guy before and American Blacks are still fairly tolerant compared to Blacks in Africa and parts of the Caribbean. Most American Blacks don't even support BLM.

Are they? Absolutely! And in many cases even more so! Why? Because some asshole liberal printed a story stating minorities can't be racist.

Since then, many blacks have taken the approach, they can say or do anything against ANY other race and get away with it, because after all, they're the minority in the US! They just couldn't possibly be racist all the while referring to white people by all sorts of pet names.

54 years ago, Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. There was a trail conducted to conclude that the FBI was behind his assassination. Racism against people of color is so engrained in our society here in the U. S. that it's impossible to truly get rid of it. Truth is, anyone can be racist, even black people. Is it ever ok to judge people based on their skin color? No. Do people do it all the time? Yes. This idea that black people or white people are more racist is such silly debate because it doesn't solve anything. By having this argument, you're actually being racist, because you're trying to prove that an entire race of people fit into whatever box you subconsciously want them to fit into.

Many black people are racist against white people, because of the history of this country. They grew up seeing police run wild (Abner Louima) and kill without repercussion, heard about MLK being assassinated by the FBI, heard about syphillus being tested on people of color. A lot of really messed up things happened here, but it takes someone mature to see things as they are and try to fix them rather than point the finger.

I would say they are more racist.

Even Pew Research has shown that blacks were by far the most likely to view race as central to their identity. The irony is that the group that is often attacked the most for being racist (whites), is the group that was the least likely to view their race as central to their identity.

I think (as many commenters have posted here), that black people can be openly racist, and have no problem doing it. There are no repercussions towards being racist as a black person, and if anything its cheered on by society as a whole

So you couple the importance of skin color to black people, and the fact that they are consistently bombarded with narratives from media, corporations, and the political system... then add a bit about how black people can get away with the most extreme racist attacks to such a degree that even the elites were cover for them..

well lets just say its easy for the average black person to hold extremely racist beliefs and think its normal.

Seriously you go to Africa, except for certain regions, the only time you'll be attacked by rabid 2-legged animals like this is if you're rich or the locals think you are. It's why a Nigerian colleague has not been home for years.

But then African Americans predominantly are... an embarassment... and I say that because so many get into drugs, gangs, shit out kids young & wouldn't know responsibility if hit in the face with a dictionary 100 times. Ever since the tribe phase, human tribes were very racist and close minded towards any outsiders or anyone who looked a bit different then "the correct way of their tribe". Thus as sad as it is, racism or any other form of "not part of my tribe discrimination" prevails within individuals from any human group.

The simplest example is sports - some people are able to hate and hurt others just because they support a different football team or just because they wear t-shirts of their "hated team".

In my experience and what I have seen, Black people are MUCH more racist than any other group. Though if one is logical and not racist (Larry Elder, Candice Owens, Falkner, etc.) then they get called a White Supremacist even though they are Black.

It is more so that democrats are much more often racist and it just happens that the majority of Black people are democrats. Regardless of race, it is usually democrats from all races that are often racist. It has much more to do with political ideology and moral views than it does with any race.

Of course. There is nothing about being economically disadvantaged that makes people automatically virtuous. It is naive to think otherwise. But it is also naive to think a substantial number of people are naive enough to think otherwise. And it is asinine to assume that because black people are no better than white people that justifies them continuing to be disadvantaged - as that would mean because white people are by extension no better than black people white people, too, should be disadvantaged, which would largely cancel things out. But that isn't what has happened..

It's not a race issue, but a human nature one - unless someone could tell me blacks would have said, were they dominant in America in the 1800s, "what we're doing is wrong, we need to support our brothers in the human race" - and were somehow collectively inherently more empathetic, which there's no evidence of, only that humans often exploit others given opportunity, then race shouldn't be brought into it, simply because one didn't have power to exploit others they claim race as the cause of suffering.

People hate groups other than the one they identify with. If you take people and randomly allocate them into two groups and compete for resources they will develop a rivalry that will turn into hatred. The skin or other have no connection.
The group that identifies as black competes with all other groups in the same way that other groups compete with them. The difference between blacks and other groups in the US is that blacks are badly regarded by everyone, other groups are not. The stronger the identity-based identity, the greater the narcissism of the group and in recent years there has been a boost of black narcissism.

From my experience, both sides are pretty bad. Only difference is, whites will actually admit to being raciest. My black friends will argue til the end of time that they are not racist, racism is only a white-trait and refer me to the definition of racist/racism (even if this does make their argument invalid).

At the end of the day, it doesn't make it right. The definition doesn't refer to a skin color or race.

Anyone can be racist. Racism isn't connected to skin color, it has to do with the way the person thinks.

This horrible and shameful. I don't like seeing white women wearing box braids and I find it offensive and disrespectful. Many non-black people don't understand that box braids are more than an hairdo. They represent our history and our traditions.

However I would never beat up a non-black woman for wearing braids.

Nope, Blacks are more racist. They are far more likely to see their race as central to their identity. Whites in contrast are more focused on individualism. Where as Blacks focuses on a social outlook of the group tribalism and dependence (welfare). White focus on the social outlook of independence and self-reliance.

Yes, BLACK people can be just as racist as WHITES, in some cases more so, I've travelled the world working engineering contracts and in almost every area I've visited there has been racism of one form or another, some blatant, some subtle, but its there hostility to anything that is 'Other'.

Black people can't be racist. Racism is made up by white people and is based on the idea that white western people, their race is superior to all other races/ethnicities. Black people can be discriminatory and hateful against white people though. And in many cases it's probably comes from the generational trauma white people have caused black people and still cause them to this day.
