It is actually human trafficking as many are not there by choice, sure some are but the cartel is so good at conditioning and training women they've kidnapped and tortured that they will never run away after that.

It happened to one of my friends I grew up with, taken... conditioned, in a place worse than prison then put in a hotel room while her handlers used the internet to arrange guys to show up at her room where she had to act like she was willing.
