Both parties do it. They also tack on a lot of crap onto every bill that is passed. Even onto basic budgetary bills. There have been officials on both sides of the isle that have called this crap out through out the years. But because people can't look past party politics and actually pay attention to what our elected officials are doing, it's been the general operation strategy for our government for generations.

Hell their have been officials on both sides that flat out said due to the expected quick turn around when it comes to passing a bill, they don't even get enough time to read it. Because that 20 or 30 page bill gets so much BS crammed into it that it ends up being over a thousand pages of small print. That they have less then a week to completely go over and draft a new version of. So the just sign it and move over to the next. Half the time a lot of them are not even 100% aware of everything in that bill that they just signed off on.

I read the news and it’s about making computer chips in USA so it isn’t all China. It’s a govt handout to business. Put someone else in powerand get similar result without stealing from our bank account.
