Apparently prime ministers aren't humans and not allowed to have fun and enjoy life and God forbid its a woman having fun. 🙄 https://people.com/politics/finland-prime-minister-admits-dancing-wild-party-but-says-nothing-hide-amid-backlash/
2.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The Finnish PM is a 36 yo woman and I might say quite comely for a politician.
It is ludicrous for media to imply she shouldn't do ordinary things, have a party, drink some beer or spirits and dance if she goddamn wants to. Probably needs a break from Putin pressure.
It is also unreasonable for media to suggest she's on drugs because she danced.
However it does seem she was breaking health guidelines of keeping a distance at private events because she certainly wasn't. That could be a problem. Boris's Party Gate did him damage. Leaders should follow what they are telling others to do.
That's for Fins to decide not us.

+1 yIf Finland weren't another despotic woke hellhole, I'd be supportive of a PM having fun. Especially if on their own dime. When they aren't doing the bare essential governing, why not take a break and be human? All these lands with all these killjoys that want to be gods, but all they harvest is destruction, gets irritating after a while.

Finland is one of the most advanced countries there is.

It's still committed gross injustices against its citizenry, in the name of absurd charges and miscarriages of justice, while pandering to foreign entities bent on slow genocide of the local population, and heavy censorship of critics, as well as censorship of the church, forcing it underground if it too credibly challenges state dogma and propaganda.
Just because their infrastructure hasn't yet deteriorated to post-Hillary Libya, doesn't mean they aren't unjust and tyrannical. Tyranny is tyranny, even if they aren't yet at Canada's level of trampling granny beneath horses.

When AOC's barely sexy at all dance video surfaced, I was on her side, that it wasn't racy at all. Not that anyone actually had a problem with it at all, it was all a bunch of fake news that "conservitards thought AOC was too sexy for her shirt, so sexy it hurts".
There is a distinction between AOC's dance and Marin's dance. Marin's shaking her shoulders, raising her arms up showing us her sexy armpits, getting on her knees, and doing kissy faces with a female friend. Presumably because she's down for a MFF threeway.
Objectively, her dance IS sexier than AOC's. That and the fact that she's married with children brings me to the conclusion that, NO, she's not meeting the minimum threshold of how a lady of her age should behave.
It's kinda more cringe than anything. She's dancing like she's a sexy teenager or twenty year old that's DTF when she has a husband at home. Doesn't inspire me with confidence that she has the maturity to make the tough calls.
AOC however is America's sweetheart. She's younger and unmarried, and while I wouldn't find it becoming if she were to dance as suggestively as Marin, I could forgive it, seeing as she's unmarried and she's the right age.
And no, it's not "ordinary" for a thirty year old woman with a husband and children to be dancing like a teenage slut.

+1 yLet me think a bit over history. Whenever rich politicians or people in power did giant parties or "orgies" like they were called in ancient Rome that nation wasn't far from a total collapse which did happen later. Hedonism and excessive parties are the last stone in a dying nation.
Politicians who waste their time on partying are nothing more then elites taking advantage of their huge pay and don't actually care about their nations problems. They have nothing to do which is why they do these pointless parties.
If we wanted those people to act right then they need to do their job or we just kick out all politicians and never let them exist again. Politicians exist because they are the ones who rebuild society and create rules but there is a point in a nations existence where they are pretty much unnecessary for it to function and should not exist after that.

+1 yIf I was president I'd go completely nuts if I had to put on a fake front all the time. If I was pres, I'd say fuck fancy balls and tuxedo dinners, bring on rock-n-fuckin-roll. Loosening up and having some fun is some of the best health therapy there is. People don't do enough of it.

Don’t really care I think she should be allowed to have fun if she wants to her position doesn’t really matter if she just wants to dance at a party and get drunk it doesn’t affect the way she runs the country unless she’s hung over the next day and there’s a national emergency beyond that who cares
10 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Her decision to break the treaty of neutrality between Finland and Russia is going to have serious negative financial consequences for the people. It was done without a referendum or any kind of vote. She should not be partying. She and the elites are rubbing the peoples noses in it.

Youth look up to them as well as their countries people. It doesn't mean they can't have fun but it should be very family friendly fun. This in my opinion is way too far and puts a bad light on her and her country making me think her choices should be questioned.
00 Reply8.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. She can have fun if she wants. The problem is that she shouldn't broadcast herself as someone who doesn't take her job as a leader of a country seriously, especially when her country is being targeted by another country hell-bent on starting nuclear war.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yWell... seeing as how there is a war going on and that Finland shares a border with Russia—and they just joined NATO (and the two nations have also been at war in the past) it’s probably not the best look for the leader of your country to shake her ass for the camera.

As PM she will likely dump her husband as she will think she can do better.
If she’s locking down her citizens at the time of this party then yes, it’s a huge deal

10 Reply4.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. These complainers need to get a life
11 Reply- +1 y
They do have a life, its called working 40 hours a week or more and having to look at their poket constantly while the rich PM throws giant parties. the normal citizens need to follow her rules while she get to break them every step. "Rules for theee but not for me." Politicians like that usually lose their heads over it.
