Is Bioshock infinite the worst Bioshock?

Well, it's not like there's a lot of competition, is there? Bioshock was System Shock 2 with massively dumbed-down gameplay, weaker atmosphere, and a more solid story (not to mention a better ending, but that's not exactly hard); Bioshock 2 was more of Bioshock, with all that that entails, and Infinite was where things started to go haywire. I saw the previews; I thought the elaborate combat looked awesome, and it was downright SILLY how big Elizabeth's breasts were- it was like they crossed a Disney princess with a porn star. The more realistic physique was a welcome change; the simplified two-weapon combat and underdone powers were not. The story that took navel-gazing to the level of somehow lodging your head up your own butt also ended poorly, but that didn't really kick in until near the end; it was going okay for a while.

Then came the DLC that retconned all of that and completely undermined the entire core point of the main game. Bleh. Levine's kinda ALWAYS struggled to end stories well, but even so...

I thought bioshock 2 was the worst out of the 3 but I loved them all.

I think part 1 was the best showing the effects of what Darwin theory would look like. A city filled with wealth ceo's and no one wanting to work basic jobs so the city went in chaos. it shows everyone is valuable.

Infinite was definitely a weird game. The story was really hard to follow for me.
