Do red and blue states get into each-others business too much?

Especially regarding New York and California some examples are New York v. Bruen, The Life at Conception Act, and sending immigrants to NYC and DC. I am just saying what New York and California do is their business if you think it makes their communities worse it is their problem. If a state or even city you don't live in decriminalizes prostitution, has late-term abortion on demand, or legal cannabis, it does not change your life, what happens to your locality changes your life.

Well, for one thing, all states are purple. We only call them red or blue based on which letter we expect will win a popular vote. But a party winning doesn't mean the ~45% of the voters who voted against it suddenly change their minds. Nor does it mean the ~55% of people who didn't vote are fully behind the winning party.

But that said, most of the interstate trolling is Republican governors trying to generate campaign footage. And the reason it is campaign footage is because for some reason it's what Republican voters want to see, instead of competence or rational behavior. Just the attempt to "piss off the libs" is all they want and they are happy to be robbed blind to pay for that entertainment.

I would say a state that consistently votes democratic and the democratic base is above the national average is a blue state.

Yes, that's how the media defines them for expediency, because when it comes time to calling elections they like to be the first to get it right and assuming trends will continue has proven to be an reliable way to do that. But like Colorado is a "blue" state, and yet Lauren Boebert is a representative from Colorado. Missouri is a red state and yet Cori Bush is a representative from Missouri.
