Lmao. I’m getting the sense that Trump definitely fucked up, but if I know his M. O., it was probably much more likely based upon ego-driven bullshit than some sinister plot. I don’t think he’s building a bomb, haha, or that he’s even sharing/selling secrets. But the redacted version of the affadavit will be released any minute now in the next couple hours. Spoiler alert: if a single thing is redacted (of course there will be redaction since it’s an ongoing case and you can’t just tell the target and possible future defendant all of your plans, because obviously that person can use that knowledge to stymie the investigation. It’d be like playing in the Super Bowl, but first you run across the field and show the other team your entire playbook, lmao), the right wing media and Team Trump and all of its supporters are going to scream about “a lack of transparency”, even though this is WILDLY unconventional to release any portion of an affidavit in a legal case. OBVIOUSLY the prosecution would never want to show all their cards, that’s not how the legal system generally works. Really, it’s ONLY because it’s Trump that we’re seeing any of this before an actual trial. And unfortunately we’re in a place in this country where people think this is some kind of appropriate call to arms, some idiot tried to run up on the FBI there very next day after we got news of the search warrant. People are not acting like they live in reality, so it seems we kind of need to show the people something because people can’t be trusted to be patient and let the legal process play out, unfortunately.

But yeah, you heard it here first, FoxNews already has their “No Transparency In Biden’s Weaponized DoJ” article drafted and ready to publish lmfao, I PROMISE you that will be their angle, unless we’re all shocked and the affidavit gives more info than I would expect to be given in something that’s an ongoing investigation, and if something particularly damning for Trump is revealed.
