Yes. I saw the crane destroying part of the east wing wall outside the White House so he could create his own gold studded ballroom. It was videotaped on TikTok much to his chagrin, because he didn/t want anyone to see it begin done. What a horrible mess. It's a disgrace that he is demolishing this beautiful rose garden to create his ballroom. It should be that no one could touch those grounds.

Meantime--the govt shutdown continues and govt workers (except for Congress of course) are not being paid anything, AND disabled people who depend on assistance from the gov't won't be getting any benefits in November. Right in time for Thanksgiving.

This may come as a surprise to you, but not everything that is historic actually needs to be in a museum. We put historic objects in a museum to protect them. I don't think we could put the White House in a museum, given its size, even though it clearly needed protection from Trump, which unfortunately it didn't get.
