Eh... I don't know! Chances are, the police officer would arrest me, if not shoot me. I don't trust cops. If it was anyone else, sure, I wouldn't hesitate to save them. I'd do it even if the guy looked armed. But for cops? Nah... They would just assume I was a rival of the criminal and shoot me on sight! They LOVE shooting people! No judgment, but they do.

Maybe I'd ask the cop from a distance if he needs help, or see if he consents to me attacking the criminal or not. Otherwise, I vote Other. I'm sure he'll be fine. Probably. ... Maybe.

Of course I'd help- though that'd probably be in the form of calling 911; my jumping in to a situation I didn't understand would probably just make things worse. For all my problems with modern policing, I really don't think letting people attack and kill them is going to make things BETTER.

No. It ain't personal, it's just the police are trained for shi like this. Trying to help might make it worse and now I'm getting punched and now the cop is trying to stop the guy but the guy is on steroids. Soo best i just mind my own business and let the cop figure it out.

No, I likely won't. I'm not going to get myself hurt or killed to help someone I don't even know, especially since I am on the hook for my medical bills, or my family will have to pay thousands for funeral expenses, because I know full well that cop won't contribute.

Doesn’t have to be a cop. There is a point at which an honorable fight should end. If i witness extreme malice, i step in. I’ve done it before and i’d do it again. To an extent, i must.
