Regardless of atrocities that could have been committed by the individual?
For example, if someone has been a serial killer similar to Ted Bundy or John Wayne Gacy, are their lives truly sacred? Even after things like that.

Their lives are sacred, but their actions demand consequences. In a situation like a serial murderer, God says for someone like that, it would have been better if they weren't born. Now why would He say that?
Probably because He knows the type of judgement that individual will get. My best guess is it ain't gonna be very nice. The Bible has a serious warming in it where Jesus says not to fear what man can do to your body, but rather fear God, and what He can do to your eternal soul!
While we condemn such actions and the "state" may sentence the death penalty, take heed to what is usually said when that sentence is carried out - May God have mercy on your soul.
Sacred is a religious word. I’d go with important. Obvi there's a hierarchy…we dont go around crying about the ants we crush under our tires. But I do release bugs back into my backyard. Which probably just feeds this massive lizard we call larry who lives under our deck.
No, 90% of people who lived died without having a family. Most people in history died before age 5. There has been, more or less, over 107 billion people yet most of them will have forgotten by human history and nature (the first sentence).
That's without counting those that became criminals or those born unfortunate (ugly, dumb, unsuccessful, born and died in poverty, born into an abusive family, etc).
Nope. No life is sacred, no life is special. Life is a banality. Quintillions of organisms have been born here, and just as many have died. Humans alone in 250,000 years number about 100,000,000,000.
Unbelievable. So nobody on this earth matters.
But God put everyone on this earth with a vision in mind
Other Christians do
Billions of people actually, and being an atheist you are far outnumbered, sorry
Oh right….. you’re agnostic

You can’t predict what atrocities someone would commit.
I understand that
When I said could I was referring to someone who already committed those atrocities, not what one could potentially become or do.
Your phrasing could be interpreted differently.
True, but that is either or. I will clarify with an update.
Nope! Human life, if anything, is vastly overrated.
To say the least, I wouldn't sentence anyone to the death
I don't think pedophiles, rapists, serial killers, and any other fucked up people's lives are sacred
Perhaps but those type of people don't get to stroll around in public.
No, there's a lot of people that don't deserve life (other than in jail!!).
Lol no could care less about a sick mental person who can't be rehabilitated and let back onto the streets to do the same crimes.
yes...
but I would gladly sacrifice some of them, to the gods...
No. Some forfeit their life by the crimes they commit.
Nope, plenty of people need to die.
I agree with that
I do but it can be forfeited,
No some people need a good putting down.
Hell no
No, I don’t.
Yes I do because no one asked to be here
No..
