+1 yIf you look up the definition of "sacred", you'll find this:
* considered to be holy and deserving respect, especially because of a connection with a god:What if you don't believe in God, can you still believe in love?
I think love is an essence that stems from a place we as humans do not fully understand. We put appropriations on it, conditions, label it, confine it, try to possess it, and more, but we barely understand what it is.Is it sacred? In the sense that it's essential, yes. That's my opinion.

Opinion Owner+1 yI think love is rare and there are few women deserving of that level of commitment. It been my experience that those that say it don't show it. And those that show it do not need to say it.
+1 yI'm not a believer or religious person... so I don't use such words.
But love is special. And should be cherished, taken care of, and never betrayed.

Asker+1 yYes that’s my point ☺️

+1 yLove is. Unfortunately many people don’t see it that way. They want to get their rocks off and wonder why they never find anything meaningful

+1 yIt absolutely is, but while everyone nowadays will say that, they lack too many traits to make a relationship successful. Honesty, open communication, dedication, commitment, etc. Two MAIN things that people tend to do to ruin relationships is:
1) always keep their eyes open for others
2) always look for flaws in their partners so they can use that as the reason to leave them
If you're always focused on the flaws and not getting passed them, you'll never have a successful relationship. Everyone has flaws. You either choose to accept them or not.15 Reply
Asker+1 yI totally agree!! Its like people always point out my flaws but never my qualities but no one is perfect geez
- +1 y
The truth is open communication and honesty usually comes with hearing the things we don't like. As long the intention behind those things is not to be rude for the sake of being rude then they should be taken with a grain of salt. You should listen to their issues. Are you gaining too much weight and they're encouraging you to work out? There might be some truth to it and it might not hurt to be healthier for yourself either. Are you getting upset over little things too easily? Might not hurt you to be a bit more easy going.
I just named a few common issues, but you get the point. While you're in a relationship, you should never just assume that they will love you for you and not put any effort into it. It's not okay to leave someone for flaws, however if they mention their issues and nothing is being compromised, then it's justified. - +1 y
Yep. Had an ex do JUST that! 😞
Asker+1 yyeah i get your point but i think flaws AND qualities need to be said... if people only focus on your flaws its not good
Asker+1 y@TenderFantasy my surroundings do that welcome in the club ! you need to learn to appreciate yourself ;)
Hi, with the social and economic development, liberalism flourished. Now individual integrity and self worth is much stressed on. Tragic love, as true medieval type love used to be tragic mostly, is frowned upon now. Tragic love is considered not a normal thing. To avoid it, self worth in a relation is much focused. People who value self worth, canmot sacrifice themselves or their ego for love. So relationships are easy now and its easier to move on now.
You want a true live, find a peraon who is doesn't value himself relative to greater scheme of things. Who has higher goals focused on greater good. Be his anchor. But if you betray him or leave him, you will make him a living dead.
If you. Want love of auch kind, be the peraon to give love of auch kind. Sacrifice all.03 Reply
Asker+1 yoops what i had in mind was something more like dont sleeping with people without love and not tragic love
Asker+1 yyou know something more in terms of partnership i dont know if its clear?
- +1 y
@Misscouincouin Don't listen to his advice, its objectively incorrect. For example, despite the answer I gave, I'm an individualist and I value my life way more than anyone's "greater scheme of things" despite also having greater good goals, and neither I nor any woman I marry has to make sacrifices.
Plenty of people who think like I do exist, and the extremist view he puts forth is uncommon.

+1 yYup, I have that view regarding love (monogomous, loyal, treasured, and commited).
I take it very seriously, unfortunately I've not found a woman worth giving it to yet (I take hobby/interest/personality compatability just as seriously, and few women are gamers who make art and like science, anime and nature)01 Reply

+1 yWhat you mean to say is we all need more empathy for our gametes. Before we spill it into someone's vagina we should ask ourselves: would I like to be born to this exact moma?
15 Reply- +1 y
@d_bone_steak just found out I have 91% mho.. but I post in a way to decrease it, I think if it shows up on site's leaderboards as the most helpful person of the week then the jealous fucks try to get rid of me.
Asker+1 yWell.. you can say so but my point is deeper 😅 I mean seriousness and commitment
- +1 y
@Misscouincouin and if one has empathy for the gametes, if I hate a hoe but she's hawt... the empathy for my gametes is what prevents bastards from being born.
- +1 y
I mean if sex is synonymous with reproduction, having empathy for your gametes, you wouldn't fuck a horrible person. Same point as you made.
- +1 y
I think the legit keepers of high MHO's are legitimate sycophants and just don't say anything out of place or to the contrary to the asker... and when they run into it, they go into report mode... and is probably why so many of them become moderators.
But check this out, what you said, "Before we spill it into someone's vagina we should ask ourselves: would I like to be born to this exact moma?"<--That is actually really deep and deeper than a vagina. That's something to actually think about... but what do you get in response? 'Snapback, clap back,' bullshit. Why? ... I guess you just didn't say it in the right way... didn't even give you a "like."
The MHO% isn't worth the effort and if it is, well I don't think you'd have any fun on this site. It might be fun in gaming the system like I do by adding pictures for no reason just to get that AI MHO... but outside of outsmarting them, I don't see a point. For reals even if I made another account and faked the boring to become a mod... we've seen what happens to them as soon as they step out of line.
I gotta go crash out again supercutebutt convinced me into looking into Matt Gates being a pedo and I wasted too much time on that. It was the same fake cases that they try to do to every R-member they don't like... a smear campaign. That girl is so far left that I almost suspect she's just trolling... and I took the troll bait that time around. I'd bet my nuts she knew it was bullshit.
+1 yI'm not that mushy about love. I couldn't have a girlfriend or wife who was that mushy, yet I don't want a woman who is heartless/distant either. Or clueless either lol 🤣🤣

Asker+1 yOk i think i exagerated with the medieval story but what I meant is I feel nowadays people hurt each other and tell anybody they love them and have sex with anybody it’s not serious like back then. I’m not that mushy but please a little more seriousness would be appreciated 🥹 like the importance of words and all…don’t playing with feelings you know 🥹

1K opinions shared on Relationships topic. It's sacred in some religious societies, as they have properly ordered judgment systems

Asker+1 yMaybe the term sacred is intense but what I really meant was that love is not supposed to be a game like I see nowadays sadly
- +1 y
It is intense, but I would recommend taking it to mean what it originally meant. Which was just "set apart". Basically, anything that is set apart specifically because it is good is considered sacred. There are various degrees of this but that's the gist of it.
The thing is come when you lose The high level understanding of love, every different form of love starts to degrade. It's like getting rid of the standards in Olympics and then seeing that the standards in all examples of that sport start to get worse.
That's why we are seeing what we are seeing
Asker+1 yinteresting! the term degrade is well choosen !
Asker+1 ywell explained no stress

Asker+1 yso do you share the opinion that actual relationships are like market instead of love?
- +1 y
what kind of market?
Asker+1 yits like a market because people are like ''oh i will try and move on if i find better'' but you will always find better in terms of look or qualities and i think you supposed to love the person the way she is even tough there is richer, more beautiful and so on thats my point
- +1 y
I definitely don't do that, no
Asker+1 yoh its weird because online i seem to find more people who think like me but in real life im surrounded by ''market people'' ... thank you for your opinion
