Compared to all life forms on earth we are by far the most advanced and therefore the most dangerous.


If of not there is a more intelligent life forms somewhere in space remains to be seen.
We have no real proof of it
And no proof of it’s absence


So until further notice humans are in fact special

Humans are the most advanced in intelligence by far true. But they remain simply another form of life. And in that regard they have to realize that they are not special at all. At least not as much as they want to believe. "Made in the image of God" and that kind of thing.
Regarding alien life forms it is ridiculous to think that only our planet in the entire universe has life on it. Anyone who thinks that needs to brighten up his mind.

I don't believe we're privileged, monitored or protected by any kind of supernatural entity.

However I believe our species has, within the sol system, unique features like this ability to imagine and make things happen, in the form of complex tools, complex culture, complex torture, complex spirituality etc.

But I guess there are also great other species too! Lions with exceptional strength and hunting abilities, horses with exceptional speed, etc.
