Is economic success reserved only for the smartest?

The smartest people are the ones who will earn the most money? What will happen to the less intelligent like me? my IQ is below 100, I am creatively stunted, I don't know how to solve problems, and I have tremendous difficulty learning and understanding things.

No. Quite the the opposite.

A students tend to work for C students.

The big money is actually in banking, business and trades. Doctors and lawyers don't really compare.

I have a few professional friends from lawyers to doctors they earn around 300k a year.

But they are poor compared to my business and banking friends who earn around 1-4 million a year. one of my friends is practically illiterate, but runs a dog kennel franchise and earns around 500k a year plus royalties.

Most people would choose a better job title over a higher paying job. So there are low prestige, high paying jobs.

If everyone wants to be a lawyer, there will not be enough people to build houses for example.

So let's say there are 5 people who needs a builder to build their houses, but only 4 builder. So the 4 builders will build houses for the 4 people who pays the highest.

You don't need to be super smart to learn a well payed high demand skill, like a carpenter, tinker or plumber.

They aren't the fanciest job titles amd you still wouldn't drive different sport cars every week, but you could have your own place go for holidays and buy stuff you want.

Yes and no, you might not end up being in the top 1 percent of earners but you could max out your potential so you're successful in that way.

Nikola Tesla, Edgar Allen Poe and Vincent Van Gogh fired flat broke. Kim Kardashian is a billionaire or close to it. Paris Hilton charges $250,000 to $1 million for an appearance fee. I’m beginning to doubt the correlation between intelligence and income.

Not true, only true if your goals is to make a lot of money. Otherwise you get as much as you feel you need before focusing your intelligence elsewhere.

IQ isn't everything. Mine is 149... But I have mental health issues that hinder my marketability. I'm 40 years old and there are 20 year olds further in life than I am. Just find your niche and roll with it.

1) most wealth is inherited
2) I would say “smart” or educated in a lucrative skill is the real key
3) IQ score doesn't tell you anything more than how well you take n IQ test.
