For example to make decisions about anything or everything different life topics or not necessarily.

One example like if a person wants to throw a party at a certain venue and she is the one paying but her friends do not like the venue for certain valid reasons, but her friend insist she wants that place, so because the firenis the one paying and with the money, her friends do not have a say in anything and tolerate the place. So in this case the one with the money is the one who has the control over it. Even if the place really sucks and it is not nice.

Or not necessarily that just because you are the on e with the money and other people may have a valid good reason to be against something you have to put up with the person with money, cause they have the upper hand just beause is the "money person" and the one who get to choose and decide whatever they want, regardless if it is good or bad.

This question resonates strongly for me at the moment. I have been trying to observe the social structures in my town lately.

Money, yes. But also something about social hierarchy. Here it isn't just money, in fact it's more about family and looks and their membership in a church. The few families that are rather attractive and are popular seem to dominate the social structure. Intelligence has NO value here, and the locals prefer ignorance over knowledge. Here "high school never ends". (the Rural Midwest)

Ugh I’d definitely want to choose with the supper I’d want my friends want bc they’d e w the ones who will make the event what it is and also for respect. It’s not really friendship if someone is controlling things with money. In that case I think everyone is there for the wrong reasons. 🤔

I think it depends on the group of people and the person that has the money. A humbled person will put everyone’s thoughts and opinions into consideration while a person all about themselves will only think about themselves
