Everyone wants to be rich like the Sheikhs in Dubai but most of those Sheikhs abuse women and treat them like animals. Cause when you are so rich that you do not have responsibilities or productive purposes in life, your character gets challenged and you lose your sense of balance. It’s why being rich is not the badge of success that most people think it is, it often corrupts one’s social relations the way it has for Donald Trump or Jeffrey Epstein.

Money could corrupt yes. I would make the argument that Greed corrupts people. Because people still fought for resources and money is a resource. Greed is the corruption behind money, not the actual bill itself. Money is a resource with no real value as variables play a part in what it is worth. It is a resource you work your entire life for but are never content with what you earned. You dont have to be an elite member of society to be corrupt by money. Money affects the everyday person and family. Yes it is an important part of our world. But there was a time when it did not exist but people still managed to live on. However Greed is always present. You could earn money and remain humble.

Just look at those people billionaires today some of them are very corrupt individuals trying to dictate what they want imposed upon us as a people. In the U. S. politics you see poor innocent freshman going into the US Congress or Senate and leave 30 40 years later multi-millionaires and they're the most corrupt.

Look money is not responsible for cultural issues, such as the treatment of women in countries like dubai. Or domestic violence in any country for that matter.

Having money does make it easier to get away with bad behaviour within the justice system because not all lawyers are the same.

I don't think money corrupts, but if the person already has those qualities it can bring them to the surface to be seen more clearly.
