The person that knows exactly who they are
A person who is not one of the good old boys that they know the difference between doing somebody a favor and doing the right thing and they don't care that they're not liked because they know they're doing the right thing
Someone who has morals values and ethics and can think of everybody else besides themselves and their friends they don't care if they're liked or loved or hated they're doing it because they believe in it and it's the right thing to do they can weigh things out and understand and balance
Someone who is honest with themselves first that way they can be honest with everybody else they don't have to put a chocolate cover coating on top of something to make it sound bigger better than it really is they are straight up there honest and it is that way because in the long run that's where we need to go that's what needs to happen there's no b******* there's no lies there is no exaggerating it's just straight up honesty
They hire the people around them for knowledge they don't have an agenda to take the country the world in a different direction than what it's supposed to be they understand the meaning of life and become one with everybody and everything not only for our country but for the whole freaking planet you're not only the president for our country but you are a leader for the whole world to teach other leaders who and how to be we don't need Wars we don't need to fight over things we need to become one with each other to help each other to grow with each other we are all the same people we are one we are supposed to be one with the universe the moment we lose hatred we lose ignorance we lose all negative thoughts about other people other countries that's when we will all change and things will become great again but until then it's a losing battle because there's always somebody trying to get over on somebody else because they want something because of greed
The United States has over 500 and something elected officials and not one of them not a single one of them dare to stand up to be great to do the right thing they're all a good old boy they all are followers because of greed because they want that paycheck and they want to stay in that office they will do it say whatever they have to to get that paycheck that is b******* they all need to be fired they're all only thinking about themselves they do things out of greed not out of the country or what's good for all the little people that are really the people in charge and one of these days we're going to all have to stand up and prove that but until that day we need somebody that does not have a big mouth who does not put down other people who does not think that they're any better than anybody else but become a teacher a leader I'm tired of the supervisors and bosses because they don't know what the f*** they're doing I want somebody to lead to become the best leader in this world for other leaders to look at and want to be like
#1. Known to have neutral desire for luxury. It's nice to have but unbothered to have it - kind of attitude.
#2. Have experience in lower economic income living situation for at least certain time long to learn about the hardships and survive uplifting self without corrupting both others and self.
#3. Have the desire to rule and curious about how to rule 'rightly' as a uniting person/tool when has the capability to do so. For the motivation to order people around and the motivation to evaluate oneself. Has scholars, religious leaders, people of different income level delegation to seek consul from (have friends from different type and level of socio-economic groups).
#4. Known to proactively make up for their mistakes. Not fearing public shame.
#5. Accepting that to be a president means to be a slave to the people. Unafraid to lose wealth. This is risky if the people don't respect moderate person who can seem like a lowly person. For real, this person actually need to accept that they will be low for the people. They should be rewarded in status only because of how high they uplift their people. Wealth is focused in developing the people. To teach them about ruling and for any improvement, it shall be paid by the government.
This person's role is to connect people inside the realm with people inside the realm. Another person should be an addition in presidential seat. This one should be someone who connect people with the rest of the world, international businesses, international face. These two should have the time and means to consul each other. The one connecting the people has power over the international one. Out of realm business should serve the inside of realm business. These two should be transparent to public in all their business and evaluated directly by leaders from different smaller regions inside the realm. These two should have the means to threaten the realm. But the realm also need to have something to threaten them to avoid tyranny.
First, the president must be a white straight man! For sure!! We have sampled the so-called "black" female and she is a crazy woman! No more of that! And since we already had a so-called "black" male president, we don't need to go there again.
He needs to protect the unborn and have only abortions if the mother and baby need to terminate the pregnancy. Also if the one that was raped and pregnant should have that option. However, I don't know how that person could prove it was rape.
To be a God fearing man.
To put the American citizens first at all times with important issues we are now facing.
Not necessarily a political man. A man with good business sense would do far better than these lying political people.
Honestly, presidential material to me would be anyone closest to embodying the conserative/traditional ideals; nationalist, belief in the old "American Dream" and the constitution, individually religious and has a family etc. . I dont care much about their politics as long as they put their money where their mouth is and aren't completely dishonest.

Hold an original thought that truly comes from your belief in the way forward. The second you hold positions solely to look like the good guy, you've lost me.
Do not be bothered with "looking presidential". Many men have the "look" and are philosophically made of glass (Romney and Obama come to mind). If you're an asshole, show it. If you're worried about the superficial, you aren't president material, let alone leader material.
Do not think on behalf of the party but on behalf of your constituents, the people. You a servant to them, at least thats how it was before Woodrow Wilson, but I digress. I personally value this highly and it shows that he or she is well versed in the foundations of the country.
Thinking retroactively can be as key as progressive ideas. For example, a president that values certain aspects of domestic living like public transport, and looks at how insanely beneficial many aspects of pre-WW2 urban planning, such as rail and much less emphasis on stuffing cars and suburbs everywhere. Using that and informing the public on things like transportation and housing will get a thumbs up from me.
Just saying uncomfortable truths and not being soft spoken or pussyfooting around the issues. That is leadership thats lacking in most of politics.
To be honest, no president would ever fully satisfy me. Reason being that our gov is not truly based on doing the right things for the people or even politically overseas, so even if you get a good guy in office, he ultimately will be compromising and getting caught up in unrighteous political motives and actions. He will bargain with this side, and then bargain with the other, while the real people never get their needs met.
We will never have a true man of faith sitting in the White House, and even if we do he will still be succumbing to a gov that doesn't truly love or obey God.
Five? Geezus!
There is really only one, but i can stretch it to two. They have to NOT want it, and they have to feel like they don’t deserve it.
The idea that the presidency is power and prestige must be eradicated entirely. EVERY elected official is a PUBLIC SERVANT, nothing more and nothing less. It’s really just better-paid jury duty. If they don’t do exactly as the voters want, we replace them. Instead, 69% of the voting base is filled with ignorant sycophants who would rather have a president’s autograph than see the end of poverty and hunger in the US.
1. Puts their own country first over any other country.
2. Doesn't try to make laws based on race that exclusively benefits one race over others with discrimination. (For example, they shouldn't support affirmative action.)
3. Doesn't help non-citizens at the expense of actual citizens.
4. Enforces laws the way the Supreme Court rules them.
5. Believes in and supports individuality for achievement and consequences for their individual choices, NOT collectivism where the many have to pay for the few unproductive people in society. (ex. No student loan handouts "forgiveness" for irresponsible people. No laws allowing people to not pay their rent while the land owner is ripped off.)
1) Someone who identifies as Christian, but is willing to violate every biblical principle in his personal and professional life
2) Someone who enjoys making fun of unattractive women and mentally disabled people
3) Someone who is often under investigation for misconduct
4) Someone with no expertise in government, and with an ego large enough not to learn anything about it
5) Someone with a small penis, but an unusually large head. Sort of like a tree in the Mushroom Kingdom.
#3 College educated, seems obvious, but Harry Truman, the only 20th or 21st century president without a college degree, had read thousands of books and was extremely intelligent. I’d rather have him than many of the Ivy Leaguers who followed him.
Watching Yale fraternity brothers, George W. Bush and John Kerry debate each other in 2004 should be proof that an Ivy League education is a waste of money.
I’d say the three biggest criteria are qualifications, character and positions on the issues. Prioritizing each one of those criteria might result in choosing a different candidate. Then one must compromise.
While I know there are Trump worshippers out there, I think I know far more people who saw the choice as Trump versus socialism and held their noses when they voted for him.
#1 Fears the lord (don't want a chef executive who don't believe himself accountable to God)
#2 Believes in the strict limits of the law and is unwilling to go beyond it.
In the long run what is done is less important than how its done. For how it's done defines what abuses will be possible going forward.
In practice this is a systematic issue but men willing to find ways to break the system are poisoning the country. Opening a door for all future leaders to finish to take advantage.
#3 Strong history of good results in the area of their office's power.
#4 Good platform of advantageous policy for the whole area being governed not just one particular area.
#5 Able to sway and lead men.
Criterion #1:
It belongs to the US Federal Government per the Presidential Records Act.
>>> When you are President, you are AN EMPLOYEE of the US Federal Government and your artifacts are "work products". You have to leave them behind when you leave the job.
-ACTUALLY puts the people first
-Leaves their religious beliefs out of politics
-Keeps their campaign promises
-Takes counsel from experts
-Doesn't act like a toddler
Pretty simple for me. The rest kinda falls in to place after that
How do you define "Expert"? It seems they are defined mostly as people who agree with what ever else you want to do.
By expert I mean someone who has education and experience in a given field. If I'm to make an executive decision around something I have little to no knowledge of, I risk making more mistakes. I'd rather have know as much as possible before deciding the best course of action. And having prior that just agree with you is like you wanting to shoot yourself in the foot and having someone say "that's a perfecty healthy idea"
Very true
1. Secular (doesn't have to be atheist, but cannot let their religious views impact their decisions in governing)
2. Must put the common people over the wealthy and corporate interests.
3. Must believe that we should err towards people having more rights, so long as they do not violate the rights of other citizens.
4. Must be willing to push legislation to overturn all anti-LGBT legislation at state and local levels.
5. Must recognize climate change as the existential threat it is.
Love your #2. 100% agree with that.
I'll be completely honest
1. Be White. I mean, let's face it, if you study global economics and politics, you will see that the most successful societies are the ones that are run by White people
2. Definitely has to be right leaning, but a moderate conservative would be best
3. Christian or Atheist, preferably the latter. We don't need the president imposing their religious views on people
4. Definitely needs to know how to connect with the average people
5. Smart, witty and well spoken
My criteria are the goals he/she must have in politics:

3. Believes in sound money.
4. Won't involve us in unnecessary wars.
5. Believes in the freedom of the individual to do anything as long as it does not violate the person or property of another.
In the United States, presidential material is:

2) Easily bought and paid for
3) Not too intelligent, but can (sort of) read a teleprompter

3) Trump
4) Trump

Trump has 4 out of 5 of yours
That's not working out to well right now. Especially after he shot himself in the foot admitting the FBI didn't plant shit
USA has a 2 party system.
You'll choose between Vermin Supreme and Paris Hilton if the elites say so.
A politician only has one job and that's to be beneficial to the people that get him elected.
Used to be the case. Now its the one who gets big business the most money.
@RiseofArtemis Lol, that's exactly what I mean. It's always been the case. Big business and money are who get politicians electe.
The opposite of biden
they gotta have a Donald Trump personality
